Low Shrinkage Silane Crosslinkable Polyethylene Compound for Cable & Wire

4244 is the product with silane crosslinking sioplas technique. It is specially used for 10KV and below cable and wire, composed by 95% silane crosslinkable low density polyethylene(compound A) and 5% catalyst (compound B). It has outstanding performance inprocessing temperature, easy processing characteristicsand excellent product properties. The specialities of 4244 are as following:

• The low shrinkage characteristic is specially suitablefor small section cable.

• The cable surface made by 4244 is shiny and smooth. The product is easy to be extruded, which also could improve the production efficiency.

• It saves energy because of the low temperature of processing.

  After tepid water crosslinked, the cable made from 4244 can meet the standard of IEC60502-2004, GB/T12706-2002.

Recommended Processing Technique

Most extruders for PVC and PE suit for 4244.

Packaging

4244 Silane crosslinkable compound is packed inaluminum/plastic composite bag, the net weight is 25.0kg±0.2kg.

Storage

4244 compound shall be stored in clean, dry, cool and well-ventilated warehouse. Storage period shall be within 6 months from the date of production.
