The transformation design scheme of the first nuclear power generator in China Is reviewed

 


Recently, the Shanghai electric power plant group held a review meeting on the "design review committee of renewal and renovation of the No. 1 generator of Qinshan nuclear power plant".

 

The review committee is composed by 7 senior experts in power industry. They are East China Electric Power Test & Research Institute, China Institute of electrical engineering, Shanghai Power Equipment Research Institute, State Grid Electric Power Research Institute of Zhejiang Electric Power Corporation, Xiapu nuclear power nuclear Co., Ltd. Tongling wenergy senior experts. The 7 owner representatives of CNN Nuclear Power Operation Management Co., Ltd. participated. Yuan Jianhua, vice president of the power plant group, and Shen Bing, the Secretary of the Party committee, were present.

 

The meeting was chaired by the deputy general manager and chief engineer, Wang Tingshan. The conference passed the design review. According to the evaluation opinion, "renovation and reconstruction of design plan can achieve the goal of capacity expansion and life extension. The generator has excellent performance, reliable structure and convenient operation and maintenance. The main performance is better than the relevant standard requirements at home and abroad, and it achieves the international advanced level".

 

Qinshan nuclear power station is the first nuclear power station in China, which is developed, designed, built and operated independently. The main generator is a 310MW double water internal cooling generator with a designed life of 30 years. On December 15th, 1991, it has been running safely and steadily for 25 years by the end of 2016 with the excellent performance and stable operation. In order to meet the needs for power plants the capacity expansion and life extension, the launch is based on the technology of the world's first two water internal cooled turbogenerator, providing users with technology and services of renovation and transformation. By using the third self-developed generation generator technology and EPC rehabilitation service mode, combinating with 660MW and 1000MW turbine generator of advanced technology, the seriation and modularization self-developed design to achieve independent development, generator run longer life for 30 years. The target output ups to 350 MW.

 

Through the electromagnetic design and optimized technology in the slot layout, combined with the increase of the rotor coil section, the output power of the updated generator is increased from 320MWe to 350MWe, and the generator efficiency reached 98.85%, which is better than the national standard 98.7% requirement. The computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation technology is used to optimize and improve the stator and rotor waterway and the end wind path, so that the modified temperature rise after transformation is not only better than the national standard, but also better than the level before capacity upgrading. The stator coil SVPI insulation system, the total internal shielding technology and the three-level anti-halo structure are used as the effective reduction of the coil corner and the end of the concentrated field. The ability of terminal anti halo and sudden short circuit of generator is improved by the technology of end integral irrigation and spherical joint connection on the coils. Using the modern advanced static excitation to replace the original three machines with brush excitation, which improves the electrical response ability and reliability of the unit.

 

Through renewal and transformation, the Qinshan nuclear power 350MW double water internal cooling generator is able to radiate new vitality and vitality. The Shanghai development plant is following the strict quality control requirements of the nuclear power project, and ensures the smooth implementation of the transformation with a full range of quality management system, and continues to create value for users.
